4. Propose impact elimination, reduction and compensation measures
When it comes to both the environment and safety, impact analysis must always follow a four-step chronological process:
First, implement measures to eliminate impacts.
Once these possibilities have been exhausted, re-evaluate the impacts based on these measures and assess any remaining impacts.
Reduce these impacts.
As soon as there are no more possibilities, propose compensatory measures to offset the impact generated by your operation.
