1. Identify biodiversity stakeholders
The Intergovernmental Science-Policy Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (IPBES) was created in April 2012, under the aegis of the United Nations (UN).
This international coordination mechanism brings together biodiversity experts, whose mission is to synthesize and analyze biodiversity-related data in order to facilitate the definition of government policies in this field.
Within this platform, a group of experts has been tasked with preparing and implementing the work program for the 2014-2018 period.
