2. Understand the concept of an inspection report and its contents
At the end of the inspection visit, the environmental inspector, who is a sworn officer, draws up a report in which he notes the existence of the non-conformities observed.
The inspection report is the official document drawn up by the environmental inspector, setting out in writing the non-conformities observed during an inspection visit.
This report has the legal value of a procès-verbal, i.e. a document drawn up by an authorized authority to establish the existence of a fact likely to lead to administrative sanctions and/or criminal prosecution.
