Stakeholders can be categorized as those associated with management and those associated with employees.
The term “management” encompasses several roles.
The company’s executive(s) refers to the person(s) responsible for managing the company (director, manager, president, etc.). These individuals are responsible for making decisions that affect the facility’s operations (investments, internal organization, etc.).
Shareholders are the individuals who hold shares in the company—that is, securities representing a fraction of the company’s share capital—and they can influence decisions affecting the operation of the facility.
