It's vital to keep a close eye on any approvals, revisions or modifications to urban planning documents, particularly the local urban plan (PLU). Indeed, it may happen that a new PLU, which did not exist at the time of the initial installation of a classified facility, now prohibits the installation of this type of facility. Modifications and revisions to a PLU can also prevent the modernization or extension of certain activities at a classified facility. It is also extremely important to take part in the consultation or public inquiry when revising or modifying a PLU, to ensure that the requirements linked to the presence of your activity are respected, notably in the town planning regulations and public utility easements (SUP).
