1. Complete the quantitative risk assessment

There are many reasons for completing a quantitative risk assessment.

Define remediation objectives (remember that the EMI cannot be used to set clean-up objectives – cf. Polluted sites and soils: initial assessment of soil and groundwater pollution [FIC 1329] ) when there are no regulatory management values for the exposures in question.
Specify current risks if the preliminary study did not lead to a conclusion about incompatibility...
