eSDSs are SDSs with annexes. These annexes contain a summary of the exposure scenarios contained in the chemical safety assessment carried out by your manufacturer or importer when registering its substance under REACh. The main information contained is :
identified uses of the substance ;
conditions for safe use, which are generally operational conditions (type of process, exposure time, etc.) and risk management measures (equivalent to PPE/EPC).
It is important to note that for the same substance, you may receive an eSDS from a manufacturer-importer who has registered, and a conventional SDS (i.e. without annexes) from a manufacturer-importer with an annual tonnage of less than 10 tonnes per year, and will therefore not be considered by the scenarios when registering.
