4. Our advice
Before embarking on a CSR initiative, start by taking stock of your company's current situation, or having someone do so for you.
You can enlist the help of a sustainable development advisor from your consular chamber (chamber of trade, chamber of commerce and industry) or professional association. He or she can help you identify your facility's strengths and weaknesses, as well as areas for improvement. You'll then be able to make informed decisions about whether or not to launch a CSR initiative.
You can also use a sustainable performance self-assessment tool. These tools are often set up by CCIs for their members.
