14. Environmental monitoring plan (four-year review)
The environmental monitoring plan must take into account all the environments potentially impacted by the site:
groundwater ;
surface waters ;
air (soil air, air in crawl spaces, cellars, buildings);
but also, where appropriate, subsurface soils, sediments and surrounding vegetation.
The objectives of the monitoring plan are manifold:
monitor (in addition to general prevention measures) the absence of quality deterioration over time;
knowledge (over time and in space) to establish the quality of the environment and its evolution;
understand what is happening or what could happen: direction...
