Social and societal
Many authors use the two terms interchangeably. ISO 26000 refers to corporate social responsibility. When referring to the various approaches described in this data sheet, we recommend using the term societal, which includes all aspects of SD, and using the term social only when referring to interfaces with the organization's personnel.
