4. Mistakes to avoid

4.1 Don't confuse the activities of depositing, using or mixing and manufacturing the same product.

For the same product present on a site, the nomenclature establishes a different heading depending on whether it is stored, used (alone or in a mixture) or manufactured. For example :

woodworking (heading no. 2410) and wood storage (heading no. 1531);
manufacture of fertilizers and growing media: heading no. 2170 and fertilizer depot (heading no. 2175).

Special case of flammable liquids

Flammable liquids are very often present in plants, whether for industrial activities (paint application, glue manufacture, etc.) or for utilities (heating fuels or fuels for vehicles or motorized equipment).
