2. Model development strategies
The method and order of parameter analysis depend essentially on the data available at the outset.
Two strategies are possible.
2.1 First method: sources are known
The data (in addition to room acoustics) are :
sources and their directivity ;
the distance from the source plane to the listening plane.
Based on the PPCE model, we successively determine :
the angle of first cancellation ;
the radius of the equivalent piston ;
opening angle at 2000 Hz ;
circles or ellipses...
