6.1.1 Room noise levels and spectra
In the case of a TGV travelling at 300 km/h, all noise sources contribute to interior noise. Noise levels are of the order of 70 dB(A) indoors, and can reach 79 dB(A) in the intercirculation between two trailers. These levels are perfectly acceptable, but rail operators and manufacturers are working to better specify and control them.
