4. From knowledge generation to validation of solution principles

The knowledge generated about the work situation and work activities must be validated at each stage of the work situation transformation process.

Validation is carried out with the help of the working groups. It enables the knowledge generated by individual interpretations to be generalized and, on this basis, the principles of solutions to be put forward to the steering committee.

Depending on the case, further feasibility studies will be required, involving simulations of likely future activity and the development of scale models.

The results are recorded in a set of requirements specifications, which are used to enrich the program document, facilitate the transition to the realization phase, and subsequently carry out any evaluations deemed useful.
