8. How to take account of the "Dangerous for the aquatic environment" criterion?
The criterion of danger to the aquatic environment, indicated by a specific pictogram (see Figure "Pictogram – Dangerous for the aquatic environment"), must be studied additionally for each of the UN numbers chosen, as it is not linked to the intrinsic physico-chemical hazards of the substance taken into account for its transport classification.
