3. DAE instruction and posting radius
A minimum of seven copies of the DAE file must be submitted to the prefecture. Experience shows that in the vast majority of cases, additional copies are required, systematically including one for each commune within the posting radius.
On receipt of the appointment of the investigating commissioner by the president of the administrative court, the prefect decides, by decree, to open a public inquiry.
This order specifies, among other things, the perimeter within which the public notice will be posted. It includes at least all the municipalities concerned by the posting radius, but also all those that may be affected by the risks and inconveniences to which the facility may be a source.
