1.1 Geometric parameters of these mixers
The various quantities classically used to characterize the geometry of anchor, helical ribbon and Archimedean screw agitation systems are shown in figure 1.
In the case of anchor-type stirrers, it must be acknowledged that the geometries used by the various authors are very diverse and far removed from one another, as shown in figure 2. In figure 1a, we have focused on the most significant geometric parameters of this type of agitator.
