imperial/fine/coarse plucking: imperial/fine/coarse plucking

Picking involves the terminal bud (Pekoe) and one leaf (the one following, always starting at the top of the tree) for imperial picking, the bud and two leaves for fine picking and, for classic or "coarse" picking, the bud and three or more leaves.

CTC (Crushing Tearing Curling)

A preparation process in which the same machine performs several shaping operations, thereby increasing throughput compared with other processes. However, this process is not used to obtain high quality teas.
