Acne; acne
A disease of the pilosebaceous follicle characterized by shiny skin, dilated pores and the presence of blackheads (comedones) and whiteheads (microcysts). The inflammatory form corresponds to bacterial proliferation (Propionibacterium acnes) inside these blackheads and whiteheads.

A protein produced by an organism's immune system that reacts to the presence of an antigen.

Substance recognized as foreign to an organism and whose presence triggers the production of antibodies.
