In many respects, liquid particles, or vesicles, are similar to solid particles, and many of the factors described in the previous paragraph apply.
Liquid vesicles, which form a fog, can also have two main causes.
A mechanical cause is, for example, the tearing off of liquid droplets from a film by a high-speed gas, spraying or high-speed contact between a liquid and a moving mechanical part.
Drops or mists can also have a physico-chemical origin. In this case, they are submicron mists obtained by condensation.
