The "traditional" ceramics industry differs from the "new" ceramics industry in that, unlike the latter, which uses synthetic materials, it uses finely ground natural minerals for a variety of products (tiles, sanitaryware, tableware, refractories, vitrified products, etc.) of interest to the building industry, electronics and, in general, both industry and everyday consumer needs.
