5. Zeolite drying, or "zeo-dratation

5.1 Principles of zeolite drying

Zeolites are natural or, more often, synthetically produced minerals with a high affinity for water when dry. Zeolite 4A, for example, has a pore diameter of around 4 Å (1 Å = 10 –10 m), which corresponds to a very high binding energy with the water molecule.
