2. Iodine resources
Iodine exists only in a combined state, and the number of naturally occurring iodine minerals is not considerable. It is mainly found in the form of iodate and iodide:
lautarite Ca(IO3) 2 ;
brüggenite Ca(IO3) 2 • H2O ;
dietzeite Ca2(IO 3)2CrO4 ;
iodargyllite AgI ;
iodoembolite Ag (Cl, Br, I).
