As the Ambrose and Somayajulu methods are more complicated to use than the other methods, these examples deal with several types of compounds in order to illustrate some of the less obvious features of the calculation methods. The estimation of the critical properties of a few compounds whose experimental critical coordinate values are given in Table 14 , together with the values of T _eb , M and the liquid density at 20°C required for the calculation, is carried out using the various methods described above.
