14. Grinding assemblies

A rectifiable set is a multi-dimensional extension of the classical notion of a rectifiable curve. It has properties similar to those of the continuously differentiable topological varieties used in differential geometry.

14.1 Rectifiable and countably rectifiable sets

The relevant subsets of n in the sense of geometric measure theory are the rectifiable sets, which are considered as generalized continuously differentiable topological varieties.
