ABSTRACT

The term nanoparticle is associated, as the name implies, to particles in the nanometric size and to particles whose size is sometimes of around hundreds of nanometers. Nanoparticles are therefore small-size colloids. They have specific scale, structure and stability (electrostatic and steric) parameters. In the same way, their optical properties (such as the diffusion of light or forbidden band materials) as well as their manufacturing process are astonishing.
