4. Characterization of speed

4.1 Average angular speed

T is the angular period. The time elapsed for θ to increase by T is the time period. We refer to it as τ. By definition, for the mean angular velocity we have : $\frac{1}{\bar{ω}} = \frac{1}{T} \int_{θ_{0}}^{θ_{0} + T} \frac{d θ}{ω}$
