When a load is heavy, especially if handling is repetitive, and even more so for a female operator, the operator needs assistance. A simple hoist won't suffice if the handling has to be fine, or if the loads' center of gravity doesn't pass through the axis of the chains. Handling arms are therefore machines that support a load and enable the operator to move it in any direction. Only one axis is motorized: the vertical one.
