crankshaft (called the crankshaft on small engines)

The engine's main shaft with the cranks on which the connecting rods of each cylinder are articulated.

piston pin

Connecting rod to piston pin (4-stroke engine).

scan

Motor air supply.

cam

Rotating element with a non-cylindrical profile for reciprocating a component.

bearing cap

Removable cage containing a bearing bush and ensuring the closure of a bearing around a shaft.

shirt

Hollow cylinder forming the side walls of a chamber in which a piston moves.

bearing bushings

Thin steel shells in the shape of a half-cylinder, coated with low-friction metal and providing the link between the shaft tang and the corresponding bearing cage.

stock

Connecting element between connecting rod and piston rod (2-stroke slow-speed engines).
