Most of the work relating to accidentology, and which seems to have a high degree of applicability within the organizational paradigm, has been carried out in Anglo-Saxon countries. In particular, we would like to highlight
the work of Barry Turner, who can be considered a precursor in the field and whose seminal work "Man-Made Disasters", published in 1978, was republished in 1997
