6.1 For each product lifecycle profile, identify the interacting external environments (E.E.) (see Competitive Analysis sheet for product functional analysis).
At each phase of the product's life cycle, the external media (EM) interact with the product's operating mode. They are easily identifiable; in general, they are the parts in contact with the product (solid, liquid or gas).
The aim is to identify all external environments (EEM).
