1. What does the term “organizational knowledge” mean?
The term “knowledge” is defined in ISO 9000 as “personal or organizational capital that enables effective decision-making and action in context.”
In the ISO 30401 standard –: Knowledge Management System, this definition is accompanied by a note specifying that “knowledge can be individual or collective.”
It is clear that the new version of ISO 9001, as highlighted in the fact sheet “Changes in Vocabulary and Definitions (ISO 9000 and ISO 9001)”
