4. Consolidating open leadership
Here again, the requirements of the 2015 version of ISO 9001 have evolved the practical definition of leadership. And once again, the EFQM recommendations are more precise. Here are a few examples (taken from the EFQM 2013 model).
Leaders develop and support a shared leadership culture within the organization (1a).
Leaders create a culture of involvement, entrepreneurship, autonomy, improvement and responsibility (1d).
Organizations involve staff and their representatives in strategy development and evaluation (3a).
They create an internal culture conducive to creativity by developing an open-mindedness and responsiveness equal to the challenge (3c).
