Adopt a common language for all project stakeholders

Make sure your glossary is clear and precise. For example, if the term "margin" is mentioned at one point, will all those involved in the project understand it to mean "operating margin, before tax"? If a misunderstanding on such a subject arises belatedly by chance or, worse still, by noting significant discrepancies in deliverables: pause for a moment and imagine the work, time, energy - in short, the cost - of such negligence? Are you sure you can maintain the fundamentals (quality, costs, deadlines) of your project? Will you have the necessary resources to make the necessary corrections, to the detriment of what other aspect: your professional situation, the reputation of your consulting company, the value of your certification or your ability to certify, etc.?
