5. Knowing the contract
The contract is at the heart of the project. Knowing your contract and its content is one of the commandments of project management.
It is therefore essential for the project manager and his team to fully understand the contract, its structure, scope and the obligations of the parties (customer, builder and third parties).
In general, the bid phase entails numerous exchanges, meetings and agreements, sometimes underlying the contract or not fully reflected in it, and clarification phases with questions and answers may have been handled by the bid teams.
