7. Mistakes to avoid
For brainstorming to be effective, you need to be concrete.
Get out of your role as facilitator, by talking too much, not letting participants express themselves, directing them towards the ideas that inspire you, censoring their ideas, commenting on them... You must remain neutral. You are a facilitator.
Not enforcing the rules of creativity: on the contrary, you need to be very firm and not let the slightest censorship pass.
