Overhead and overhead lifting
Suspended lifting: the lifted load is held by a hook or gripping tool suspended from a cable or equipment. The load's center of gravity is vertically aligned with the suspension point on the hoist's rigid equipment.
Note :
the dynamic effects of handling subject the load to parasitic movements of rocking in relation to its suspension point, or of rotation around the vertical axis passing through its suspension point.
Mounted lifting: the load rests on one or more supports (stan-dards or special supports). It is held rigidly and in a fixed orientation relative to the lifting equipment on forks, a platform...
