Over and above the technical aspects, and despite technological developments that make the project both simpler and, overall, more responsive to business needs, the first condition for the success of a CMMS project is to ensure that the human conditions are in place for it to succeed. As with any project that affects the organization, the time required for change management must not be overlooked. The specifications resulting from the project design must take these aspects into account from the outset. However, as the project unfolds, you should not hesitate to take a step back and refocus on priority needs, if necessary, so that the project does not suffer from the "tunnel effect". Nevertheless, the specifications (and any changes to them) will remain the guiding thread throughout the project.
