INTRODUCTION
This code has been drawn up by FEFCO and ASSCO, to be used as
a simple, language-independent and internationally intelligible system
of symbols, enabling carton packaging types to be designated without
recourse to often lengthy and complicated verbal descriptions. It
can thus facilitate the designation of packaging in trade relations.
Only FEFCO and ASSCO are authorized to make supplements and amendments
to this code.
