INTRODUCTION
The conditioning and packaging of industrial materials and products incorporates climatic, physical-chemical and mechanical protection.
Depending on the case, the parts are packed individually or by quantity of use, and grouped together in transport packaging; or, for the largest items of equipment, packed directly in individual transport packaging.
Packaging operations for industrial materials are carried out either :
at the production plant by in-house packers;
subcontracted to teams of packers seconded to the manufacturer;
or, very often, in the workshops of the industrial equipment packer.
