Check the level of understanding and internal ownership of quality

There are a number of benchmarks, standards and consulting firms on the market that will enable you to take stock of the situation at a given point in time and implement an improvement plan.

However, if you want to do the work yourself, one of the most effective methods is to determine and monitor the evolution of internal quality ownership according to pre-established maturity levels.

For example, three levels of maturity could be distinguished:

• basic level ;

• repeatable level ;

• adjusted level.

Based on your observations and the data you've collected, you'll be able to determine your organization's level of maturity with regard to the descriptors to be followed for each of them.
