An outsourced process is one that is necessary for the realization of the product or service, has an impact on product conformity and whose control you decide to entrust to a party outside your company or your certified scope.
External part means :
a supplier in its own right, totally independent of your company (e.g. subcontractors, inspection bodies, central purchasing bodies, etc.);
a company entity outside the scope of certification (e.g. subsidiary of a group to which you belong; company department outside the scope of certification; support services provided by the group to which you belong, such as human resources, IT, purchasing, maintenance, etc.). ).
