Current systems are based on modelling that is too imprecise. The modeling process can be broken down into three parts: experimentation (data generation), data acquisition and processing, and reasoning design.
In the computer literature on fatigue detection, it is not uncommon for one or more of these aspects to be biased.
Some articles base their models on questionable data. Indeed, it is not uncommon for the data sets used to be simulated.
