8. What happens next?
Once the writ of summons has been drafted and the various documents and evidence gathered, the writ of summons must be served on the alleged infringer by a bailiff, who will hand it over to him.
Once the writ has been issued, the lawyer registers the summons with the Paris Tribunal de Grande Instance, which will have the effect of bringing the case before the court.
