Copyright protection is acquired without formality, simply by creating the work (see article L. 111-1 du CPI ), subject to compliance with the conditions of originality and form.

Nevertheless, in the event of a dispute, the beneficiary of the copyright must be able to prove :

• he is the author of the work or has had the rights assigned to him by the author of the work;

• the date on which the work was created.
