Advisory Board

A company's advisory board is a committee of experienced professionals recognized for their expertise, whose purpose is to provide advice and guidance to senior management.

Business Model Canvas  

A matrix that breaks down a business model into nine components:

• customer segments;

• value proposition;

• channels;

• customer relations;

• revenue streams;

• key resources;

• key activities;

• key partners;

• cost structure.

The Business Model Canvas originated from academic research conducted by Alexander Osterwalder as part of his dissertation under the supervision of Yves Pigneur at HEC Lausanne.
