5. Translate "comité de pilotage" into "board".
As we've just dropped the terms "project manager" and "sponsor" from our vocabulary of exploration, let's forget about the "steering committee" too! In the manner of a start-up, let's call the initiative's specific supervisory body a "board".
But what is a "board"? A board is a meeting of stakeholder representatives, but also and above all representatives of all the sponsors who finance the initiative and who must benefit from the final vote on decisions. The person in charge of the initiative must keep this in mind at all times: the sponsor has the right of life or death over the initiative.
