4. Structuring effective follow-up
A convincing pitch can quickly lose its impact without good follow-up. The majority of opportunities don't materialize for lack of follow-up, clarification or poor timing. Structuring a follow-up is not just about sending a thank-you e-mail, it's about establishing continuity, maintaining constructive tension and guiding towards a decision.
Anticipate the content of your follow-up e-mail as soon as you prepare your pitch. Identify the elements you wish to relay:
reinsurance elements to be transmitted ;
attachment, business case, mock-up ;
proposal for a follow-up appointment.
