The intrapreneur will be exploring unfamiliar territory. A causal approach based on experience is often counter-productive and a waste of time and money. Launching into reasoning such as risk analysis or detailed planning will not be productive, as there are too many unknowns.
You'll need to move forward little by little, in iterative mode, learning a little more with each step, and not hesitating to turn back or start again. To make these choices, and in particular to decide what expenses to incur, the intrapreneur will have to think in terms of acceptable losses.
