3. Anticipatory resolution of predictive MdDs: for potentially critical MdDs (resulting from the FMEA), produce predictive fault trees and define risk mitigation actions.

A predictive fault tree (Tool 3 ) is created in advance to identify the causes of a potentially critical MdD and thus avoid its occurrence in the development phase or in the customer's use phase.

3.1 Identify potentially "critical" MoDs

Use the results of the FMECA to identify critical MOBs. These are the modes with a threshold RPN (generally set at 100).
